How Paceline uses platform data to operate and improve the service.
Paceline.club uses data to help riders find rides, help clubs manage their online presence, improve safety and reliability, understand whether the platform is useful, and decide what to build next.
We use account, club, ride, membership, location, notification, and usage data to provide core Paceline features. This includes ride discovery, maps, weather, membership workflows, dues tracking, club administration, email notifications, feedback review, spam prevention, security monitoring, and support.
We may analyze platform activity to understand club growth, ride participation, rider demand by geography, feature adoption, storage usage, email volume, performance issues, and user experience problems. This helps Paceline decide where to improve the product.
Paceline may create aggregated or de-identified data that does not reasonably identify an individual user. Paceline may use, disclose, license, or sell this aggregated or de-identified data for business, research, partnership, product, or market analysis purposes.
Paceline does not currently sell identifiable personal data. If Paceline later plans to sell or share identifiable personal data, we will update the Privacy Policy and this Data Use Policy and provide legally required choices or consent controls before doing so.
Club administrators may see information needed to operate their clubs, such as membership status, dues status, ride signups, waiver status, emergency contact information where applicable, and club-related activity. Club administrators are expected to use this information only for legitimate club purposes.
Location data may be used for maps, nearby search, weather, ride discovery, and product analytics. Users should only provide browser location access when they want location-based features.
