Paceline is now open as a public beta, with new tools for ride discovery, sharing, club messaging, polls, units, and club management.

Paceline is now in public beta as of Monday, May 25, 2026.

The goal is still simple: make it easier for riders to find group rides, connect with clubs, and lower the friction of showing up somewhere new. Over the past week, I've shipped a lot of updates to get the site ready for broader use:

  • Better ride discovery: Ride pages, club pages, and the homepage have been cleaned up to focus more clearly on finding rides and joining clubs.
  • Ride sharing: Ride pages now include share tools and richer link previews so rides look better when shared by text, email, or social platforms.
  • Personal hosted rides: Sharing and preview support now works for user-hosted rides, not just club rides.
  • Ride polls: Club admins can create polls for upcoming rides, helping members vote on options like routes, dates, or ride plans.
  • Miles and kilometers: Users can choose their preferred distance units, including metric distance and search radius support.
  • Club shop foundation: Clubs can prepare simple merchandise listings for items like jerseys and shirts.
  • Club messaging: Super admins and club admins now have a message workflow inside Paceline, with email notifications.
  • Help documentation: The help section has been expanded with updated screenshots and guidance for riders and club managers.

This is still early, and I expect there will be rough edges. If you run into something confusing, broken, or missing, please send feedback. The best way to improve Paceline is to hear what makes real riders and real club leaders hesitate, get stuck, or wish the app worked differently.

Thanks for taking a look and helping shape where this goes next.
